Stacey Kusters is the President of Berkshire Hathaway Energy Solar, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Energy Renewables.  Stacey has worked 25 years in the regulated and unregulated energy sectors. Before becoming President of the solar division, Stacey was Vice President Business and Project Development, Vice President of Renewable Energy and Origination at Berkshire Hathaway Energy subsidiary NV Energy, and Director of Origination at PacifiCorp. In these roles she directly oversaw and implemented $450m in solar acquisitions, 800 megawatts of coal replacement with gas and solar, 500 megawatts of green tariff solar projects, 2400 megawatts of wind and solar physical power purchase agreements, and over a billion megawatt hour notional equivalent in power, gas, and weather derivatives.

Stacey Kusters holds a Political Science degree from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, British Columbia and an EMBA from the University of British Columbia. Stacey was on the boards of the Solar Electric Power Alliance 2014-17, Green Chips non-profit Organization in Nevada 2014-15, and the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) and the Power Exchange (PX) before 2001.  She also served on the Western System Power Pool Operating and then Executive and Committees 2001-14.
