Boris Schubert

Boris Schubert joined ET Solar Energy Corp. in 2014 as Group VP of Project Development, overseeing all development, partnering and project finance activities outside of China. This includes the role as CEO of ET Capital Solar Partners, Inc. Boris is a senior executive with more than 15 years of experience in cleantech, electric utilities, technology and consulting.

Before joining ET Capital, Boris was CEO of Saferay, Inc., where he was responsible for project development in North America, and CEO of Q.CELLS North America (now Hanwha Q CELLS USA). Boris founded and led Q.CELLS’ systems business in North America, including project development and project financing, EPC and O&M. Prior to joining Q.CELLS, he worked as a management consultant for Accenture, where he served European clients within the utilities operating group. His projects included market entry strategies for Distributed Energy Resource players, B2B CRM process optimization, and data warehousing, analytics and reporting for utilities.

Boris received his MBA from the University of Augsburg, Germany, and has a graduate degree in Industrial Engineering.

Raymond S. Wood serves as a Managing Director and Head of the Power and Renewables Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He leads coverage teams across a variety of client sectors including regulated utilities, independent power, alternative energy and private equity sponsors. Over Mr. Wood's 25-year career, he has assisted clients on noteworthy strategic transactions and financings, a number of which have been named "Deal of the Year." He has transaction expertise across the spectrum of mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, leveraged finance, structured finance, commodities and privatizations.

He received an M.B.A. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management and a B.A. from Dartmouth College.

 

Jeff Weiss

Jeff Weiss oversees D-SUN’s investment companies. He leads capital formation and is active in development, strategy and governance for the Company. Mr. Weiss has led companies in cyber security, intelligence and corporate fraud mitigation, mission preparedness, software development, and transformational management. Companies include TSG, a $10MM strategic intelligence firm, Picture Network International (sold to Kodak in 1997), CDx (Certificate of Deposit Exchange), Verisign, Vista Information Technologies (a $100MM network services firm) and ASAP Ventures. Mr. Weiss graduated from Cornell University and The Wharton School (MBA). He is an active alumni leader at Cornell on three boards, including the Cornell Center for Technology, Entrepreneurship and Commercialization. He is Director of Shenandoah National Park Trust and Washington Hebrew Congregation, is Washington Leadership Chairman of Business Executives for National Security (BENS), and is past Co-Chair of the Aspen Institute's Socrates Society.
