Nick Knapp is a Managing Director of CohnReznick Capital Markets based in the New York office. He has more than 10 years of experience in M&A asset sales and raising, structuring, and negotiating tax equity investments for clients in the renewable energy industry.
Nick specializes in utility scale wind and solar transactions. He has also advised on financings for distributed generation and solar panel and solar cell manufacturing facilities. He has served as lead financial advisor on more than 30 structured equity and lease transaction closings in the renewable energy industry for projects ranging in size from 5MW to 500MW.
Prior to CohnReznick Cap Markets, Nick was a Transaction Advisor in the Structured Finance Group at GE Energy Financial Services (GE EFS), focusing primarily on renewable energy investments in the United States, Europe, Canada and Japan. Before this, Nick worked in the Transaction Services Advisory practice at KPMG where he provided due diligence and transaction guidance in the renewable energy and real estate industries.
Nick received a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Hartwick College and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
