Director of Business Development, Jinko Solar
Jeff Juger is Director of Business Development at JinkoSolar (U.S.) Inc., where he is responsible for developing strategic initiatives, conducting solar market analysis, building the brand, and communicating the company’s strong bankable position to financial institutions. Recently, Jeff was a member of the site selection team for JinkoSolar’s first US factory. He negotiated incentives with local and state officials, culminating in the selection of Jacksonville, Florida for a brand new module assembly facility. With leading position in the US, China, and many emerging markets, JinkoSolar is now the world’s largest PV module manufacturer with the best-selling brand of modules since 2016. He also assists Transtec Global Group, a family-owned technical sales business focused on the sourcing of automotive, medical, and fluid management parts from Asia. Previously, he served as Director of Marketing & Strategy at Hanwha, where he oversaw the integration of the SolarOne and Q-Cells brands into Hanwha Q CELLS. Before his 7 years in the solar industry, Jeff negotiated shipbuilding and surface systems contracts for the Naval Sea Systems Command in Washington, DC.
Jeff previously served on the Board of Directors at the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), during which time SEIA successfully lobbied the federal government for the extension of the solar investment tax credit. He is a current member of the SEIA PV Recycling Committee, which launched a national PV recycling network in 2016. He is also on the Solar Editorial Advisory Board at Renewable Energy World magazine. Jeff is a recipient of the Johns Hopkins University Outstanding Recent Graduate Award for professional and volunteer achievements within ten years of graduation and is a member of the Johns Hopkins University Second Decade Society. He currently serves on the Yale School of Management Alumni Advisory Board, where he is also Admissions Committee Chair. Jeff holds BAs in International Relations & East Asian Studies from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
