Jacob Andersen

Jacob Andersen is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Onshore business in North America for Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, a position he assumed in 2017.

Prior to his most recent position, he was the CEO for Siemens Wind Power’s Onshore Americas business from 2014 to 2016.

From 2012 to 2014, he was the CEO for Siemens Wind Power in Canada. Prior to that, he was the Director of Wind Service for the Americas region, based in Houston, Texas from 2010 to 2012.

He held various positions of increasing responsibility within the Wind Service division, including Global Director for Service Technology from 2008 to 2010.

Mr. Andersen joined Siemens Wind Power in 2003 for the installation of the Nysted offshore wind project in
Denmark, the world’s largest offshore wind farm at that time.

He has been instrumental in establishing Siemens as a leading player in the wind power market in Canada with
more than 2,000 MWs of installed capacity.

In 2013, he joined the Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA) Board of Directors in 2013. In 2008, he was
nominated by Siemens Wind Power management as candidate for the Danish Wind Industry “Talent of the Year”
award.

Mr. Andersen holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Technology Management and Operation from Odense
Maskinmesterskole.
